Re: KPro / KManager requests
I'd also like the datalog to log the Traction Control 'Target Slip' %. I keep forgetting what I was using when I come back to old datalogs!

Re: KPro / KManager requests
It would be useful if there was an extra Nitrous tab, as I run both nitrous and water/meth injection.
I'd also like to be able to use one or more of the analog inputs as arming inputs and outputs for nitrous/datalogging/burnout rev limit etc.

Re: Daughter board communication error after Kmanager update
Just completed some tests. Between pin A2 and A4 at the ECU I get 10.5 to 11.0v when cranking, rising to 14.1v when the engine starts. But, I can't get the error to appear today, with or without the USB plugged into the laptop, so it can't be anything to do with the software upgrade. The only thing ...

I'll get the multimeter on it this weekend.

Daughter board communication error after Kmanager update
After updating kmanager from version 3.1.6.0 to 3.2.4.0 I now get the "Daughter board communication error" if I start the engine with the laptop plugged in to the ECU with the USB cable. When I start with no laptop plugged in I get no error. I can then plug the laptop in and datalog with n...

Re: Datalogging traction control with Kpro
I have attached my Kpro calibration, TC calibration and a datalog from the drag strip. TC was switched off for the burnout, then on with a target slip of 6 or 7%. I had to rename the traction control calibration "Hondata traction control.kal" rather than .tcc as the forum wouldn't let me u...

Re: Datalogging traction control with Kpro
Yes, wire cut and plumbed straight into the traction control.

Re: Datalogging traction control with Kpro
Any thoughts on this? I've done some datalogging recently with just kmanager open and there's no difference. TC Over, TC Retard and TC Limit stay at zero no matter how much TC Slip there is.
I'm running Windows XP on a Dell Inspiron laptop if that's any help.

Re: Datalogging traction control with Kpro
I assumed something was wrong with TC Out as it always seems to show the same as the ELD voltage, rounded down to the nearest volt. I've never seen it go above 4%, even when TC Slip is as high as 40%. When I datalog I will have done a variety of things, but most often I probably have both the stand ...

Re: Datalogging traction control with Kpro
Yes, kmanager gave me a message to do so!. I've also adjusted the traction control speed and rpm parameters to suit my car while tuning, so had to upload the new maps then.

Datalogging traction control with Kpro
I'm having a bit of trouble datalogging. I have both USB cables in my laptop (Kpro and TC), but for some reason in Kmanager the TC Over, TC Retard and TC Limit sensor readings never change from zero?. I get mph readings for each wheel and TC Slip and TC Turn percentages, but the others stay zero. Al...

Re: New knock control tables
I tried out knock control last night, and it was just as unpredictable as you found impc. I had no knock throughout my test, but K.Control was sometimes greater than zero (Hondata did warn that this might happen!). On a WOT run the values in the kal file were: main ignition value at 23*, K.Limit at ...

Re: New knock control tables
Thanks, thats very useful info. It clearly works, just maybe not exactly as we would expect. I saw your earlier post, and noticed your datalog was at a cam angle of 24*. It may be that the difference is due to interpolation between the 20* and 30* cam tables.

Re: New knock control tables
Having thought about this, my last sentence is of course wrong. I was confused by the statement in the help file that "Note that the ECU will only retard timing if the (dynamic) knock ignition limit is less than the (MBT) ignition value". By dynamic knock ignition limit I assume this means...

New knock control tables
I'm interested in using the new knock control tables in version 1.5.1.0, just in case I get a bad tank of gas, but just want to check my understanding first. I have read the help file several times and understand what is known of the Honda setup, but with the Hondata 'knock ignition limit' table bei...
