thank you

thank you very much hondata.... finally there is something to look forward to for the fd2 honda civic type R owners.. hopefully this could help us tap into certain parameters of the jdm ecu to solve the inconsistant pinging and excess retard on our rides.

in that case, is there any chance that the remaining compensation tables n knock tables in the above said calibrations be revealed so tuning could be more comprehensive? we would like to tune based on the stock equalivent n reflash calibration. or isit impossible to do so in those calibration? we ca...

No, all you must do is use one of the other FD2 based calibrations besides the 2 labeled: Civic-Si-RRC-1 and Civic-Si-RRC-2-Reflash All the others have the extra features. I believe what they were mentioning is that other than the jdm fd2 hondata reflash and the stock equalivent calibration, we are...

did yr tuner adjust the knock sensitivity limit? sometimes the inconsistant octane of fuel n embient temp contribute to knock. being in a higher gear n stepping on the throttle would in definite induce knock.

Re: Knock retard vs knock count?

I know that the values in the knock sensitivity table will not change the knock count. If that is the case, what does it (knock tables) do ? Does it affect knock retard? How does the ECU determine the knock retard? this topic has been discussed before. look up in this forum regarding the relation o...

dallionz: Please explain your potential issues more clearly. with regards to these potential issues, I believe that I have elaborate these issues to the best of my ability on my first post. following these from other fd2r owmers whom had contributed other issues regarding the jdm n civic si calibra...

thanks.

thanks hondata. any views regarding the rest of the issues? update of the jdm calibration with functions seen in the civic si calibration? the flashed calibration output in the ecu being consistant with our input changes? is the firmware and logic between the civic fd2r and the civic si ecu complete...

same outcome.

bro, its the same outcome with the blinking check light on the recall batch as well as the newer pre fl and fl models. tried and tested many times. wanna ask is there any particular process of reflashing an ecu throughly with consistant outcome as to what we programmed them to be? is there any other...

There is an easier way to do this. You may right click on the table and import from another previously saved calibration (eg Honda reflashed). Thats what i did, however it ask whether wanna load the table index, i am not too sure which to click, thus i click "no". However do note that wil...

2008 pre fl version.

my car manufacturing year is 2008. pre fl version. I doubt that it is the problem as it does not belong to the ecu problem batch which is anything before 2008. the blinking check light has been present regardless before fl or after. anyway, was hoping for a reply about these matters as these are qui...

knock tables values changing.

I m driving an fd2r and I feel there are some bugs wif the flashpro. wanna ask wat is the difference in the logic between the hondata reflash map for the fd2r and the civic si map. apart from the increased calibration parameters and options in the si map compared to the fd2r map, is it completely co...
