do it once and be done. I agree. Not to mention, you can alter all the load points to what you want. So you can have the 5 bar with PSI load points that go only to 35 PSI as opposed to 60 PSI. Jason That is a very good point!! I went with the AEM 3.5 bar and did exactly what you said..!! on a side ...

Is there something I can put inline from the alternator or some wire that leads from the ignition to the ECU that will reduce the interference?

OK, I feel like an idiot. I had the secondary tables checked off. I must have clicked on it by accident and I never thought to check that. I hope we all can learn from my stupid mistake!!!!!!

Thanks Matt from Hondata for figuring this out!!!

Have you verified thtat the map is actually reading from the cells you are changing? Yes I did, I tried to change the part of the map where it was idling and the entire map.. I even created a brand new base map and no change in A/F with that new map either. I tried realtime update and UPLOAD and no...

Re: shift light output to auto meter shift light?

Does anybody know if there is a way to hook the shift light output to an auto meter shift light? I assume there is a pin out to the check engine light that can be used. Is it + or -? I would like to be able to control a shift light from the parameter menu insted of using pills in the light. Wow, I ...

PROBLEM WITH AEM 3.5bar map sensor HELP HELP

I had a GM 3 bar in the car and I'm boosting 26 lbs. I want to boost higher so I installed a AEM 3.5 bar map sensor last night. I started with a new map (USDM P72 rom) and I also changed my old 3 bar map to a AEM 3.5bar in the MAP section and these 2 maps did not help my situation!! The problem I'm ...

If I do not think I will go over 37lbs should I go with the 5 bar?

Also, how is the resolution on that sensor?

Which map sensor is recommended for about 35+ lbs of boost

I have the GM 3 bar currently at 26 lbs of boost but I want to increase the boost. Should I go with a motorola 4 bar, or a AEM 3.5 bar or 5 bar. I want to keep a boost cut that is why I need to change from the GM 3 bar.

What works best for the s300?
Thanks,

Sean

I put 0% in the fields and my car would run max boost for some reason. I put 5% in the fields and ran boost pressure set from the wastegate spring!!

OK, does the ECU use interpolation for boost levels that are not in the table?
