I see, so my H22 is not recovering early enough. My stock P13 recovered around 1000rpm and idled at 750rpm. Stock P13 ecu is an OBD1. Yeah. I guess you can't expect an engine to fall suddenly to idle speed and hold idle without it dropping below. Hence this feature. Well I guess I'll wait until Hond...

Not hurting like mine. LOL. My thinking is simalr to your in terms of how the entire OFC works. I would say the 2 work together as well. All I would add is that the rpm vs map OFC works conditions must be met as well in order to activate OFC. That is - u lift off throttle at 4000rpm(TPS<1%/rpm>1050r...

1.4.1 I have on the CD that came with the computer but getting that to you from Barbados is gonna be tricky lol. I plan to change the Alpha-N Settings back to 15 but I read where hondata said to increase this setting to 15 (originally 10) if the return to idle was problematic and they weren't referr...

Yep. Gonna need those injector eventually. Cant you go back to the previous version? I still have the downloaded .exe so I can mail it to you. Let me know email address if you need it. I'm talking about revving in the garage and seeing the problem. Coasting in the overun state is fine in terms of re...

I'm using the version that was posted up June 9th I believe. I didn't realise there was a newer version. That 500rpm index circled remains at 8000rpm on my version. No problems there. Do you think a fuelcut cancel point value would be 25-30Kpa as you say or do you think it should be let's say 10Kpa....

Thanks for the reply. In order to fine tune the lower rpm maps could you give me a little insight as to what exactly happens when the injectors are cut? Is there a fixed amount of fuel that is injected under this cut condition? Is this fixed value adjustable? Looking at the air/fuel ratio under this...

Idle drops too fast

First let me say I have a good understanding of how to adjust the idle and IACV Duty cycle and did so according to the instructions in help. However, I am of the opinion that the idle drops too fast when the car revs over 2,000rpm and the throttle is released suddenly. When revving under 2,000rpm th...

hmmm........Well what I did was to change the units on the map tables (Options, settings, Units) to kpa and it was like in the 70s in the idle range. I guess that threw me off cuz I was looking for the values to be around the 20s/30s. So is it possible that when the units are changed to kpa the valu...

I'm a little confuse as well. The units in Overrun Fuel Cutoff(MAP) is kPa or is it suppose to be inches? I can understand 19 inches of vacuum being a setting at 500-4000rpm. If not, how much is 19kPa in inches?

No it wont affect street driving. More than likely you won't be touching/changing the area of the map the car sees during street driving. For example you might end up tuning out the 2000-3000 rpm values around 0map. You might be able to tune out the same area of the map on the street if you move off...

I think you're hitting a different area on the map when you're on the strip because it sticky. In other words it's under more load at lower rpms. Those points would need to be logged and tuned at the track.

Estimated Duty Cycle

How accurate are these figures? I know it says estimated but won't different fuel pressures affect this? Is it based on a fixed fuel pressure? I'm a bit worried cuz I'm running 12psi now and from my calculations its telling me I'll max out my 1000cc injectors by 19psi on my H22. Is this the norm for...

Drops out of Vtec in 3rd gear.

Hi guys, This is my current tune and all I can say is that 1st and 2nd gear feels great but 3rd drops out of vtec and seems lazy. This tune is on a turbo H22A prelude with 9:1 mahle pistons and eagle rods. All other parts are stock. Boost is set to 12 psi but I find that when I change to 3rd gear th...
