Hey fly_n I just wanted to let you know that the weekend went great with the tuning. I still have a different view in terms of the fuel map values vs injector size, lol, but I would say that everything makes sense and I have a comprehensive knowledge of tuning my car. I upgraded from 550cc injectors...

I think we both understand each other. I just wanted a better understanding of how the programming works in order to sensibly tune the engine. It's only been days now of using Hondata after using Uberdata.

I understand perfectly. However the fuel trim setting would do the same thing to the entire map as scaling the injectors and this could also be done in such a way to change the actual map values. Then you would just go to the fuel map and fine tune the resulting values. Dont flame. I just think it w...

Background changes

Why did Hondata decide to alter changes to the fuel maps in the background when keying the new injector size rather than change the base maps so the actual values can be seen?

Map values seem high in boost

When datalogging the trace is higher than the actual reading on my guage especially in boost. Example - the trace is in the 10psi column but my boost gauge only reads about 7psi. So I'm getting boost cut too early cuz that is set to 10psi.

I think found the reason why. The sensor setup under "Options, Sensors" were set to degrees celcius and the display bar shows degrees fahrenheit as the units. This is how the prelude.skl comes by default so it would throw a newbie off like myself. Am I correct?

Couple of questions

Is there a maximum value for the fuel map table that represents maximum flow of the injectors?

My IAT and ECT readings in the display bar are way off when datalogging...........what's wrong. The readings are 67F and 94F respectively when fully warm. Using a PO6 S300 on an H22.

Injector Size

When changing the injector size under Fuel Trim, shouldn't the fuel values in the Tables change accordingly? It don't change for me.

ECU bar code number 37820-P72-003

Can you give me details on this ecu bar code number 37820-P72-003? It also has a big "AS" to the right of the barcode.

Is it chippable/compatible with hondata? It is OBD1 cuz it plugs into my 92 prelude and starts the car. No cel.

Thanks.
