suppression diode (type 1N4004) for boost solenoid

Hi, Is this still a must when using a Hondata boost solenoid? It also state this is how it should be hooked up... "It is recommended to install a suppression diode (type 1N4004) near the boost control solenoid with the anode (stripe end) connected to +12V and the cathode (non stripped end) connected...

Re: ignition timing

Hi Arno,

I will look into in a bit and let you know, it's a basic PRB map I used with changes only to fuel/ign/cam angles really.

What has me is that just out the blue I started getting this problem.

I don't normally feel it in the higher gears either its not happening then or it very very slight.

Re: PRC STOCK CALIBRATION FOR DC5 JAPAN MAKE

Click on the button in the software that says New Calibration and then select the K20A-ITR calibration. IT is the closest to a PRC calibration we have. Will that calibration work fine? Im an amateur and just bought a new K-pro for my jap itr -03, do i need to adjust something with your k20a-itr.cal...

Re: Nitrous output wont trigger

not be a pain in the 'butt' but i was looking at the nitrous output triggers and both B6 and E18 are standard outputs for my a/c and fan which the ecu triggers normally. just to confirm, my PRA cant use these either? it was said the ecu does not have the internal circuitry but in my mind if its norm...

Re: Nitrous output wont trigger

So I have been thinking now, my best bet is getting a PRB ECU. installing the stock wideband and doing the pin swap.

What are the down falls or what functions I wont have using a PRB ECU?

I will have ALL the current functions of my PRA plus the other functions including the nitrous functions?

Re: Nitrous output wont trigger

Oh damn it!!! I have read the nitrous section within the Kmanager and have never seen this. Thanks Arno, I rearly check the home page on here. I assume the PRA don't have the internal circuits to trigger an output but all the pins are their. This is now very upsetting because it allows the fuel to b...

Nitrous output wont trigger

hi, i went testing the nitrous but it wont trigger the relay for the solenoid, then the motor gets crazy rich because its adding the fuel, so i know the other settings i have in the parameters are good. i have it set to always armed and triggered via E21. i rechecked my circuit and its good, once i ...

Re: KManager V3.2.2 (beta)

it gave me another error code which didnt close the program, it connected with the ECU, but i had to upload the kal because it was two different versions, after doing this its back to normal and now this last version (3.2.2) works for me.

what exactly was the problem? I have no idea.
