Re: Cut signal for flat shift

Yes, 5V or 12V will not harm those inputs. I would check that 5V is enough to switch off the input though.

Do you have a FlashPro?

Use the Send Feedback function with the FlashPro plugged in.

Re: +3PSI Base Map - Actual Boost Up to 21 PSI

The ECU targets torque, so when it is got it will command more boost to make the same output.

You can reduce the TC max boost (IAT) table and you will lower the boost (and power).

Re: New 2018 CTR FlashPro + Cloned ECU Installed

1. Up to you. I route over the steering column but then I tend to remove the FlashPro regularly.
2. The FlashPro goes into a sleep mode when the ignition is off. It will not appreciably drain the battery.

Re: Service light with RBB calibrations, but not with RACE calibrations?

It is because the race calibration does not support the service reminder, so when you switch back from race to normal the service minder has been reset and shows up as zero miles once the normal calibration starts. There is no reason to use race calibrations. They don't do anything better than norma...

Re: Help reading datalog / is this safe?

There is no knock retard which is good. Ignore the knock control or knock level.

The fuel trims are not bad but the AF in boost looks a little jagged. I would do another datalog using the FlashPro, which gives a higher resolution datalog than using a laptop.

Re: Expanding air charge tables.

The fuelling is calculated and doesn't use air charge. Ignition values will just stay at the the high column. We know the air charge is ok at 550 hp but in theory the tables could be rescaled.

Are you using octane booster? A red deposit and fouled plugs a very common with boosters.

Your air fuel is richer than 10:1 in places. That is the problem.

Re: Hondata Torque Value vs. Dyno Measurement

The torque value is from Honda's internal logic; not Hondata's.

+-5 NM at 250NM is fairly close I think.

Re: Car not starting after flashing tune

Please use the 'send feedback' function with the FlashPro plugged in and ignition on.

Then return the ECU to stock (not stock equivalent) and try that.

Re: Gauge doesn't sweep when uploading calibration

Under Calibration -> Fuel look for 'Use speed/density tables'. If that is checked it uses speed/density (MAP), otherwise mass flow (AFM). Note that in both cases the MAP and AFM are actually used by the ECU, but the fueling is only done using one method or the other. SD uses the MAP sensor for the f...
