Re: Advice for Road Racing - Knock Control

You have to determine first your desired power level. Say 250whp, then you have to answer; Does my IAT, ECT, Oil and K.Count stabilizes after 5 hot laps or so? If one or two items go up, then you have to solve that area. One thing to note though that the smallish TD03 turbo efficiency map is way ou...

Re: Advice for Road Racing - Knock Control

My worriness scale in order of importance for road racing. 1. IAT - especially at high boosts, either get a big intercooler, get more airflow thru the grille or just lower the boost to be safe. 2. ECT and Oil temp - it'll go up with time and boost and outside temp. More airflow, bigger rad/oil cool...

Advice for Road Racing - Knock Control

Hi Everyone, Hoping @Hondata or someone else can give me some advice. I went to my tuner, and got my 10th gen tuned (2018 civic HB sport) I was happy with the numbers that it produced (93oct = 227hp/272tq, E45 Blend = 240whp/294tq). However, my big concern is Heat and Knock control to keep the power...

Thank you for the info.
I will change the voltage settings and see how that works.
So based on your reply, i really should have got the Innovative one correct?
Seems like a more accurate sensor, since it can read 1.5% - 100%?

Install Flex Fuel - Sensor Reading High?

Hi, Hoping someone can help me out. 2018 Civic, and just installed a Zeitronix ECA-2 Ethanol content with their Flex-Fuel Sensor. Got it all hooked up and flashed the 9psi Flex Fuel map. Ethanol is reading 21%, and I am running on straight 93 Octane (Live in IL if that makes any difference). If i di...

WOT AFR not right - suggestions

Hi Everyone. I installed a CAI on my 2017 Civic HB Sport 6SPD. I went and reflashed the ECU with the 9psi Injen CAI Calibration. After driving it and giving it full throttle, the AFR's are not making sense to me. On the standard 9psi tune, when i would go to full throttle it would immediatley drop t...

Re: FlashProManager V2.8.7

@Hondata, I had a quick question for you. The 9psi flex fuel basemap for the new 2016+ Civic (Non-Si), says that upgraded clutch is recommended. Do you have HP/TQ figures on this? Just wondering how much it makes? Im still on OEM clutch, so I am guessing i can just take your based map and lower the ...
