It gets better... :? I installed SManager 1.4.3 BETA to see if it made a difference. My LC-1 wouldn't connect properly, and would surge from max to min a/f ratios. The ECU is in closed loop with max/min % set to 10 and -10. According to SManager S.Term stayed at +10 for most of my journy home while ...

The only non-oem parts are the ignition leads. The plugs are standard except a stage colder. The distributor is a standard pattern part. I'm not convinced it's even the car that's causing the problem. At the moment I can get SManager to connect to the ECU no problem, but sometimes after 10minutes ru...

Just got around to doing this yesterday. Afterwards it connected no problem but this morning I had a little trouble. I tried a different USB port to my usual one I use and it seemed to work. I'll report back if I have any more bother.

SManager Disconnecting

I'm running the latest version of SManager which i downloaded last month. After downloading I noticed that sometimes SManager would disconnect while datalogging. This only happened sometimes but today on my way to work it wouldn't stay connected for more than a few minutes at a time. I've tried usin...

I'd also like to see some sort of anti-theft function,
like the car has to be in a particular state before the car can start.
i.e. brake, clutch, aux switch, etc.

Also agree with the shift light functions mentioned above.

Surely that's a fuel pressure problem, as in too low?

What Spunkster is saying is it's possible to download the calibration from the ECU to your laptop, but there is a chance that in doing this the calibration will become corrupt. If it becomes corrupt you'll need to upload a new calibration. This is the kind of reason for making a few back-ups of your...

If I tune my car in open loop it's fine. If I tune in closed loop it can also be fine. BUT, when in closed loop, on cold start up the A/F ratio is about 9:1 and is a pain to start. It's about 50% too rich according to the S300  When it warms up the A/F ratio goes back to normal. I've got the ...

I assume I can use an auxiliary output?

Settings:
Function - Input - Disabled
Function - Generic Output - A12 FANC (Radiator Fan Control)
Conditions - (SET AS REQUIRED)

Will these parameters work?
Can the fan come on if the car is stationary, as I read it can't?

Thanks,
Ian
