The Honda ECU can only understand narrowband input [unless it's a P07 or other ECU designed for wideband input]. The benefits of running in closed loop are better gas mileage...as Spunkster said you still get to see true wideband values from the sensor on your PLX device, but from the box, the signa...

$15 from Moates.net for everything you'll need...or you can buy the components individually if you don't need all of that stuff.

Essentially, the ostrich is a romulator. You can use it to tune on the fly, but you will also need to buy a ROM burner so that you can burn your final map to a 29C256 to leave in the ECU.

Are you talking about blue top DSM 450's?

You may have to bore out the injector seal that goes into the IM a little with a dremel tool.

First you need to determine what you have, what you want, and how much money you're willing to spend to get it.

Are you OBD-0, OBD-1, OBD-2, or K-series?

The inline resistors lower the current the injector drivers see. The resistor box should be used with low impedance injectors, and not used with high impedance injectors. I think you can burn up your injector drivers by overheating them [too much current] if you don't use the resistors. If you can't...

I have done a fairly detailed writeup [minus photos] on the Honda-Tech.com knowledge base for wiring in a resistor box with plugs, so that it can be installed or removed in seconds.

You will need the S200 and a saved .bin file on your ROM [inside your ECU] constantly in the car to drive. The .bin file is saved on the ROM...the interface box allows addition of options, datalogging, and also allows for the ECU to read the Hondata .bin file. The only way you can get away without h...

You will need an Engine Control Unit [ECU] that is capable of running an engine that has Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control [VTEC] and a knock sensor [a B16B has both of these].

Check out the link I posted for all applicable ECU's.
