Random lean condition after shift to third gear

Hello, After tuning a buddy's test mule RDX on E85, I have found that right after the shift to third gear on a 1-2-3 run, the commanded injector pulse is much lower than it should be for a second or two, then richens up in an instant; whereas this is not the case in second gear or fourth gear after ...

Re: New injectors

One or two knock counts in those areas are fairly minor.

I do suggest having the car tuned, though. The trims are all over the place.

Myself, along with a few others offer remote tuning services for this application.

Re: Throttle plate limit at 0mph

I was under the impression this was supposed to disable throttle period, although the car is able to "brake boost" with no trouble (allowing the throttle plate to be 100% open when the brake is depressed when the car is moving). I have attached a log of it. I see we can't log "Brake Switch" on the s...

Throttle plate limit at 0mph

Hello, I have a client that is drag racing his RDX, and is using the foot-brake to hold the car still while applying throttle to build boost on the launch. I have attached a datalog that shows the throttle plate being limited to 20% until the car begins to move. Is there any way to raise this limit?...

Re: KManager V4.1.1 (beta)

Downloaded the newest beta this morning with the new ethanol content settings; thanks again for that.

Is it possible to add ECT and IAT parameters to the Generic Output criteria?

Thank you!

Re: Throttle body swaps

Good info. Would be interesting to see the results for the TSX TB (07-08) as that's the one I was having problems with, maybe I'll get bored and take a look at it. However, what you just posted will go over 99% of your consumer's heads, and they will continue putting on the big TB's to make 2hp on ...

Re: KManager V4.1.0 (beta)

Forgive me, you're saying if the tables were used in the configuration attached, that using the new closed loop option will require retuning of the fuel tables themselves? The car is already tuned to AFR targets very close to the new "Target Lambda" native settings, so would enabling them require ex...

Re: KManager V4.1.0 (beta)

Thank you for the information.

Will switching from the fixed WOT compensation values to the new Target AFR tables require retuning of the fuel tables for use with the new Closed Loop features?

Re: KManager V4.1.0 (beta)

The closed loop targets under high load/boost sounds cool, especially with the ethanol content sensor stuff, but how fast does it correct?

Has this been tested on high power, high boost applications at all?

Thanks,
Derek

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings

Latched to engine speed wouldn't be a bad idea.

The sensor in a return line would be getting near constant flow and signal at idle speeds/low load/RPM, and would provide a good basis for anything higher.

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings

Vit is right, it's quite problematic when the content reading drops under load. The first log I attached shows content dropping when high load/boost is applied. My sensor location is a few inches from the return on my regulator. Latching onto the last low-load reading would be superb, and keep FlexF...

- IAT compensation for PWM boost control
- Ignition cut rev limit (or a soft-cut function)
- Per-gear rev limit

Re: Ethanol content sensor readings

That was the serpentine belt loose (no tensioning system, three-pulley combo).
