FITV = Fast Idle Thermal Valve

hmm, the purge valve is already disconnected...Ill try and plug it back in and see if it makes a difference..

Is there any way to tune the s200 so that the car will idle when it is cold outside? The car has a h22 with a euro type r manifold and 70mm Ericks racing throttle body. the traces on the board are exposed and i think even burnt....i dont think its still good...i could try and put in a new cap and see if it still works...i wonder if anything else got messed up though?

i hope it was moisture and not my soldering job...unfortunately the ecu cannot be repaired...it did some serious damage to the board...basiclly burnt a hole where one of the leads on the cap was. ..hopefully i can find instructions on how to convert a p06 to vtec using parts from the fried p28

Last week I socketed a euro p28 for hondata. Everything was fine for a week. Today while driving, one of the capacitors fried on the ecu. The cover of the ecu was off since I had the ZIF socket hooked up. Could something have fallen into the ecu and cause it to fry? What else could it have been? a b...
