The datalog buttonon the FlashPro does not start the datalogging on the laptop. You must push the datalogging button or F10 on the laptop to see the realtime datalogging on the laptop. I pressed the start/stop datalogging button on the laptop (ray icon) and did what I explained before, and also dis...

FN2 FLASHPRO BUG IN BETA NEWEST VERSION

Hi Hondata, I have uploaded a cal (Nuno´s one), so I checked for the last update and refresh both hondata software and hondata flashpro firmware (with beta version). After uploading a cal, I tried to datalog to have a look at the parameters in the laptop and when I push the datalog button, the cars ...

I'm unsure what you mean by 'without doing other changes'. If you load the existing calibration into FlashProManager, change the VTEC window and upload to the ECU, then only the VTEC window will change. I think that Boss want to change parameters when the engine it's running.... like Hondata S300 :...

And one more thing, don't change your vtec crossover to 3500rpm.
Right! Thanks Mr Nuno, very useful information ;)

Hondata, what I tried to explain is what _Mozz_ understood. I mean that If I upload Gr. N cal, modify VTEC lower point at 3500 rpm, save changes and upload to the car won´t be safe because other parameters must be adjusted (like VTEC transition like _Mozz_ wrote, for example). In addition to this, w...

FlashPro doubts

Hi Hondata, I have FlashPro in Type-R FN2 and have some doubts about it… Can I modify directly the fields without doing other changes? For example… in VTEC window, set the lower limit at WOT at 3500 and upper limit in 5400 rpm? The fields that I would like to know if I can change directly without ot...

Re: Looking for an Skunk2 cams map for Type-R FN2

These cams require extensive tuning. I can tune your car for you without being there for max power and reliability. Please email me for more information.[/quote] IPS KME are quite agressive.... I saw Skunk2 is better for a daily use... so I change the Subject of this topic... Thanks for your interes...

a) 2500 rpm is about the lowest you can go, but in practice 3000 rpm is the lowest we've needed, and that is only on supercharged engines. b) 8600 rpm is a sensible maximum. You can rev to about 9000 rpm on a stock engine, but not too many times. c) Under 'rev limits' change the 'launch limiter' va...

That´s correct... now I can see them. Another few questions.... a) If I change lower VTEC window for 3000/3500 rpm, will be bad for the engine because of the lack of oil pressure? Is it necessary to make changes in another parameters or just write the rpm? b) Which is the safety point with OEM inter...

It does not have to be connected to the car to view the parameters, but you must have the calibration loaded in the software. Once you make your changes you must upload them to the ECU. I will try that this evening, but I think I´ve tried this without good results. Another few questions.... a) If I...
