And with BBG tables tuned properly it's a nonissue... Cylinder drop works great tho... if only we had it..

BTW, on the CRZ, please disable the cat protect logic, I have supercharged customers hitting it...

Re: FlashPro Requests

Anti-lag for the quasi-launch-control.

My 8th gen will thank you, being able to launch from 7k rpm with more than 1psi of boost.

Re: FlashPro Requests

@Derek Remember when we got the gear selector and such working on the Race calibrations long while ago? I've tested the Civic calibration on my now and the gear selector works properly (all 6 speeds), however there is a small, yet somewhat annoying discrepancy still. On Race cals: - Gear selector wo...

Re: FlashProManager V1.8.2 beta (Bluetooth)

FYI P0128 is generated over two cold start driving cycles when the ECU based two tests. The first generates an error when the actual coolant temperature using ECT1 is much colder than a calculated coolant temperature. ie slow warm up = thermostat stuck open. The second condition is when the ECT2 ri...

Re: FlashProManager V1.8.2 beta (Bluetooth)

Up to a count of 4 customers popping P0128.

Looks like a couple of them have big aftermarket aluminum radiators... could be something to do with it.

Re: FlashProManager V1.8.2 beta (Bluetooth)

In either case I don't want to discuss theory... just want to get a toggle for the P0128 code, as even customers with the OEM thermo are popping it for some reason, and I can find no fault in their cooling system -- both the stock thermo cars I worked on in person, had on the dyno, and the car ran c...

Re: FlashProManager V1.8.2 beta (Bluetooth)

I wanted to comment on that myself, since cold thermostats actually reduce performance for most cars. I think most of them are purchased by uninformed performance enthusiasts just because "performance companies" like Mugen and J's racing sell them as "performance parts". If I could find a thermosta...

Re: FlashPro Requests

* when saving datalogs that were recorded on the flashpro, eliminate the "filler" rows to reduce the file size, similar to the way the datalogs are saved when recorded in FlashPro Manager. This would reduce file size by about 80% without reducing the data resolution. No. Absolutely not. Those are n...

Re: FlashProManager V1.8.2 beta (Bluetooth)

@Hondata:

Confirmed:

- 2 customers with stock thermostat throwing that code (both cars I worked on in person -- there's nothing wrong with the cooling system, ECT's were solid on the dyno).
- 1 customer with low temp thermo

All 3 popped P0128

Re: FlashProManager V1.8.2 beta (Bluetooth)

We need P0128 disable on the 06-11 Civic Si calibrations -- I have customers throwing that code with low temp thermos (and my car has a low temp as well). Why do people use a low temperature thermostat? Is it to reduce knock? Seems just because it's another part they can buy... Moot discussion, I h...

Re: FlashProManager V1.8.1 beta (Bluetooth)

The option to disable the fuel economy alternator control on the ILX calibrations is kind of a nuisance... I have customers in cold climates that are having trouble due to the battery drainage from this stupid "feature" Honda added lol

Re: SManager 2.3.0

Works for me. Was it a laptop datalog or an on-board datalog? This was a laptop datalog. I key'd off and shut the laptop putting it to sleep. When I opened it, it had recorded another bunch of empty data still thinking it was connected via bluetooth... I disconnected the bluetooth, tried to view th...
