fixed the problem. not an S300 issue ;)

voltage regulator died in first ecu. pcb reworking s200 to s300 resulted in multiple broken/missing traces (NOT MY WORK!!!) on the second ecu. i had to add 6 jumpers to repair the ecu.

so it's all good now :)

if you are set on a p72 without a relay i CAN mod the p72 to change the polarity (it's just not cosmetically pleasing :) within the ecu.) the relay is really the best route for you though (if you send me the adapter harness i can add the relay if you're not comfortable doing the mod). i can promise ...

the s300 datalogging provides great feedback and is far superior to that in the s200. i can't overstate the usefulness of great datalogging. the s300 also has additional tuning tables that enable more control for the tuner. but if you are truly a hands-off owner then the s200 or even the s100 may be...

so tired of idiots...
take responsibility for your own actions rather than disrespecting the product that did exactly what you told it to do.

obdII iab will not work with the obdI p72 without wiring mods. inverting the output will not work. also, iab has VERY VERY LITTLE effect on 1/4mile times. this IS NOT A HONDATA ISSUE. any qualified honda tuner should have warned you of this before you visited the dyno. obdII 'teg ecus send a 12Volt ...

jdm will work with the s200, but it must be a manual ecu. 72J is auto and junk... not convertable.

works fine, just disable the vtec within the software, or disable the vtec pres switch and use the high resolution maps for 4krpm up.

do yourself a favor and use a degree wheel to set the cam initially. z and y cam gears are different as is the placement of the keyway in the cam. which also leads to dizzy timing issues. pos took us forever to figure out and the cam timing ended up being off by 12 or more crank degrees. good luck.

or add vtec and iab to your p06 when you have it socketed for hondata.
***HONDATA does not offer these services themselves***

or email it to me and i'll convert it and email it back. no charge, though you'll need to touch up the tune as i beleive the conversion is only approximate.
