Personally I'd remove the hard drive from the old laptop and connect it to your new one via USB...you can then access all the files on the drive.

If it's normal behaviour what should the air/fuel ratio be?
Does K-Pro do the same thing and if so the same question as before; what should the air fuel ratio be? :?

The reason I ask is because I find it easier to tune in Closed Loop. This way I'm always at 14.7:1 and never really lean or rich at part throttle. I've done it this way on my S300 and now my K-Pro. Currently my Long Term = 0, Short Term +-3% & WOT is within a few percent too. I adjust my part th...

Is the only reason for this to be done is so the Long Term Fuel Trim does not come into play?

It is not possible for K-Pro to have real-time editing so Secondary Tables would not be possible either.

I know and understand all that, I'm more curious as why the supplied calibration is the way it is...as in such a big climb...it goes against everything they tell us within this forum.

I am yes, it's not the fuelling I'm looking over it's the difference in cam angles between the low cam and high cam at the VTEC cross over point. It seems to large.

It's K20a-ITR.kal when you go to "New Calibration"

If I were to change the VTEC point to 5200rpm the low cam angle is 25deg and high cam angle is 50.
It seems all wrong :?

K20a-ITR.kal

Should the VTEC point on the K20a-ITR map be 3800rpm?

It seems way too low and doesn't follow whats on the Hondata website.
Also, the cam angle on the low cam seem a bit iffy before VTEC is ment to engage.

Can somebody explain these please.

Cheers,
Ian

Closed Loop Threshold

Standard maps within KManager have the Closed Loop threshold set to 80kPa. I read one of Hondata's posts stating 70kPa is a better option. I'm curious to see what others have set theirs to including a little insight from the moderators. The reason for this is because I feel the car will enter Open L...
