Re: FlashProManager V2.8.6

Ethanol itself is not corrosive and you won't have any problem with the fuel system. Ethanol is hydroscopic, so if your fuel tank / EVAP is not a closed system it can allow water to enter the fuel tank, which would be a problem. Also with after market port injectors some are designed for natural ga...

Re: FlashProManager V2.8.6

Sorry, I didn't make my self clear. I mean, on my other car before that was previously tuned on e85. I have great results with over 500whp but Im killing my fuel injectors since it is not a daily and I only use it say, once a month. Tried to have it ultrasonicly cleaned and flow checked but the tech...

Re: +9psi map for CVT

No i haven't done any pulls that goes to 140-150mph. The car does not make enough power to reach that high on most race tracks. if you planning to do that often going that fast. I would add an oil cooler too if this is a race car No, I have a completely stock car. I just happen to be a curious guy ...

Re: Boost by Gear question

Sorry, i deleted my cal already since it's just a test cal.

Below is what I recalled my BBG settings. My boost map back then is targeting 24-25 psi across the board above 4000rpm.

Please see attached log.

Re: Fuel Economy

Hi,

Thanks for the link, BUT;

Im specifically asking if "use AFM to determine WOT" will be virtually, by default in the program, checked or unchecked in ECO mode ON or OFF, vice versa.

Re: +9psi map for CVT

i'm running 27psi after 4000rpm running at +2-3ign with no heat stroke problem. I also dont live somewhere where its 100F+ all the time. sounds like you need an aftermarket intercooler Yes, big + if you live in colder weather. Also, have you tried doing and datalogging a 140-150mph pull? That's wer...

Re: Boost by Gear question

Quick note after fiddling with it,

BBG for CVT is a bit inconsistent. Im not sure if this is a software issue or what. Im having a hard time targeting BP and it is way off to what I set. I changed the index RPMs though, maybe that bugged it a bit?

Didn't used it for now.

Hondata wrote: Mon Nov 06, 2017 7:34 am You already have this option with the Eco or Sport button.
Hi,

Does that mean, by default...

In ECO/non sport mode - this is unchecked?

With ECO OFF / Sport mode engage / +R mode engage(once flashpro is released to type R) - this is checked?

Re: +9psi map for CVT

Just to update this thread. I finished up with my tune on my car. Here are my thoughts. 1. +9psi(or 24psi) tune is a misnomer. For us CVT users running on 92octane(100RON.) In reality, you would like to add +9psi(24psi) from 4000rpm upto 5500rpm only and quickly drop it to +6(21psi) upto redline or ...

Re: Locked status on flashmanager software

You need to talk to your seller and ask Him to unlock it first before He sells it to you. Ask for refund if He can't unlock it.
