I interpret it as maximum speed for the fan to come on. :) Interesting that it works at 0, as I've never tried that.

It sounds like you are asking for closed loop boost control, perhaps a PID based setup.. None of the other Hondata products have this, so I am doubting it is going to happen anytime soon..

If it is doing it only during a shift, and you are lifting off the throttle during the shift, I would check the TPS tip in trim.

Wouldnt setting the maximum vehicle speed to 0 cause the fan to never come on? I normally set them to 30 mph..

Yet one more component to fail. :) What nutjob customer of yours runs 8 injectors on a street car anyway?

The OBD1 injector driver can drive 8 high impedance injectors in a drag race application. I do it all the time with Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors with no issues.

I'd say that by his statement of having a CL7, he has an accord with someone's custom adapter harness. Either way, that doesn't have anything to do with the ability to download the calibration.

The map sensor reading stays at -28.9" until the car is running. Wideband reading sits at 10.70 until the car has been running for at least 30-45 seconds .

Just figured I'd add this so that anyone else researching this will have some answers..

You may also want to talk to James over at HRTuning, as he is obtaining data via the USB port for his TunerView screen systems..

I wouldnt bother with the knock board, if you really feel it works well enough to keep, use an ecu that has it to begin with.

Personally, I could care less about the OBD1 knock sensor setup, and I don't use it.

No, the software will not crash. :) The software just commands a certain PWM duty cycle, if the boost pressure exceeds that of the table, it exceeds it, this is not a closed loop system, the software doesnt care what the actual boost level is or reference it back to the table.
