E85 starting : SOLVED
having an issue with a car that is running E85. only problem is getting it started. the tuning is going great but when we shut the car off it will not start on its own power. it will start on starting fluid. I have tried adding to the crank fuel table with no luck 30% 60% 90% Car is a 14:1 compressi...

This ^ plus live logging in the battery offset tables will help will help a lot!FreshDA9 wrote:Hows about a pressure vs duty cycle table based on map sensor selection. under boost control parameters. having more cells will allow better resolution for desired psi.

Re: First time Street tuners, We doing it right? 56K beware
You look like your on the right track. your doing well loading the cells. hitting 8 and 9 are sometimes hard and sometimes never happen. try this tune your column 7 like you have before. then tune your wide open throttle col 10. highlight all cells between 7-10 and hit the interpolate button once. s...

Re: PWM Boost Duty Cycle
yeah its a mechanical issue. turned boost up on a MBC and then lost all boost. BOV ended up leaving its flange and hanging out in the engine bay. Stupid HKS!!! thanks guys for the help.

Re: PWM Boost Duty Cycle
Let me know if possible battery voltage issue. some runs its 14volts others its 13.2v we have pinned it down to a T1 battery relocate issue that they discontinued and changed parts. but it doesn't seem to change in psi with voltage change. please let us know. if we have to it will go manual boost by...

i know its not the solenoid on our issue as it works and i use the same vendor and solenoids on other cars. i do have an extra laying around i could swap out but would like to last resort that. Here is our post http://www.hondata.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=12982 our boost source is off the c...

Re: PWM Boost Duty Cycle
How are the logs looking to you Spunk ? nothing out of the normal? We have taken aprt the waste gate and put back together and checked diaphragm and it was 100% put it back together then you told us we used the wrong setting. we changed the setting and was hitting 12-13psi. on fixed duty we were dia...

Re: PWM Boost Duty Cycle
actually it was like 55 to 60% to hit 12psi. this would suck it 100% only allows 24psi and this car will eventually be over 30psi. i wouldnt mind 50% being 12 but if it would hold 12. if you look at the logs the peaks are at the end. its not holding 9.9psi across the way or 10.5 across where the pwm...

Re: PWM Boost Duty Cycle
Hi Spunk, 6psi wastegate, yes we have used higher duty as we found for some reason its around 50% to hit 12psi this was using the gaer target. I wanted to dial in the boost by using the fixed duty then record the % and put into the gear target maps. its the Mac solenoid provided by Xenocron.
