Be sure that you're wideband O2 is reading A/F from the exhaust and no outside are is being introduced. Install your O2 at least 1 meter before the downpipe terminates.

In my racecar the problem was caused by the wiring. Grounds were not working well so I had to scrape the paint and ensure all grounds were secure. Made sure engine ground was ok. Everything is fine since.

I was able to do it back when the S300J wasnt available yet. the process is too much trouble. It could possibly give you loose connections.

BUt why bother transferring the s300. Both ECUs will give you the same performance. You can even convert the P28 to P72.

I think it is a rare problem in the states but here in the PI sometimes problem comes from a bad oil filter. A lot ot fake oil filters. Be sure to use genuine honda or better.

Kinda difficult I think since it is embedded in the MCU. Better choice would be to use the power steering position switch input. Worked well on my nitrous set up. Well that is if you have the PSP in your ecu.

It would also be nice to view the datalogged graphs with a view of the values like the one seen in MOTEC. Kinda hard switching back anf forth to display then graph.

Could be a bad upload. These daughter boards are very sensitive to low voltage. Check your grounds and battery. Happened in one of my KPRO customers. Turns out the battery went bad because he seldom uses the car. My S300 serial is 0078. So I wouldn't suspect a bad batch there. My car runs fine excep...

just to check if it's not your wiring or anything other than hondata.(problem isolation) Use a standard ECU to check if the engine runs fine. then check the base ignition timing.

If everything seems ok with the stock ECU. then reply to this post. nd well try find another solution.

Make sure the car has a good set of grounds. My s300 works fine in my stock 2000Si. but acts really weird in my racecar. Datalogging and downloading calibrations gets fucked up in my race car. Had ti fix the grounds.

You can use the JDM ECU with a bit of persuasion. I woould recommend using the JDM P08. Had success but you have check carefully. otherwise as dee said trade in your JDM ECU.
