Re: 2018 Sport Hatch 6MT - 9psi hesitation

For one you shouldn't floor it on 5th/6th gear at that low of an rpm. you are putting a lot of stress on the rods and clutch. that hesitation on 2nd gear is cause it's running really rich. It switching to open loop for some reason. Did you just flash your ecu ? If you just flashed it before the data...

Re: Tweaked base CVT tunes?

Hondata aims for reliability for the CVT. The basemap included is what they are comfortable with to have a longevity of the CVT. Like you said if you want to push it pass the Hondata limit of the basemap. You can either tune it yourself or get a tune/e-tune. The tables are in the calibration to push...

Lilwonton17 wrote: Wed Jun 13, 2018 1:34 pm Nope torque tuning is to adjust the torque nothing to do with boost. Boost is the TC Maximum Pressure Ratio. But don't think a dual tune is possible as of right now.

You do know that the TQ is controlled by boost/TPlate.
To limit the TQ, it has to lower the boost command/TPlate

The only way to do it is adjust the TQ tables

Salvador Rivera wrote: Mon Jun 11, 2018 10:01 am You can see my Map, you can modify the table it really is a very warm place, but yesterday I recorded the datalog if it was very hot.
You will need to take it to a tuner and have him make you a custom calibration. The calibration you have is modified and not the basemap from Hondata

Re: Honda CVT slow

Looking at your datalogs, IAT is sky high. It's robbing you a lot of power. It's almost hitting 200F.
I highly recommend you get an aftermarket intercooler if you live somewhere really hot.

I would also run it a little richer if you are on pump gas

Re: Honda CVT slow

Do you know how the CVT works? It does not have "gears" to change.

Have you compare your car without a flash to see how much slower it is? Just a flash will not make the car fast

I would just use the calibration for the stock intake. So a calibration without any intake names
