OK. I tried various ways and found the following: If you have only ONE cal in EITHER primary and secondary, it work as you intended. If you have TWO cal in BOTH primary and secondary, you cannot undo the read protect by uploading another cal. The way to get it work under this scenario is to DELETE B...

That is what I did:

Notebook -> Flashpro

Could it be a firmware bug with the flashpro unit ?

No. Uploading a new (same name or otherwise, primary or/and secondary) cal does not work.

Currently on v 1.1.5.6

Re: Knock retard vs knock count?

I know that the values in the knock sensitivity table will not change the knock count. If that is the case, what does it (knock tables) do ? Does it affect knock retard? How does the ECU determine the knock retard? this topic has been discussed before. look up in this forum regarding the relation o...

knock values decreasing with each save!

Did an experiment and there is indeed a problem with the knock table values decreasing. I am using 1.1.5.6 now. What I did in this experiment is as follows: 1) Load new cal. Select FD2 Stock Equivalent. Save cal as stock.fpcal. Note value of knock low - 0 degrees @ 500rpm/Col 10 = 740 2) Re-open sto...

There is an easier way to do this. You may right click on the table and import from another previously saved calibration (eg Honda reflashed). Thats what i did, however it ask whether wanna load the table index, i am not too sure which to click, thus i click "no". However do note that wil...

Nope, mine is year end 2007, the issue I find is that everytime u open the calibration in the program, certain portions of the knock tables will reduce by itself, so if I were to edit my calibrations 10 time, the knock tables will be reduced quite a lot. Nowadays I have to copy and past the knock t...

What knock tables are you guys using ? I am still tweaking with different MAP based calibration for FD2. I noticed different tuners may adjust their knock tables differently. Shouldn't they be the same ? Hi bro, i am using the default JDM hondata reflash knock table. Never adjust it before. OK. I a...

Knock tables

How are the knock tables derived?

Should they be the same if the engine are the same ? Isn't adjusting the knock tables same as "cheating" the ECU ?
