Re: Overrun - Ignition
Here are the 3 tables I modify for Subarus... https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-j6dY5wPAUZY/VGoXV2IZXGI/AAAAAAAAD68/pPLANZS1TVA/s914/base%2520timing%2520at%25200%2525%2520TPS.jpg I am SURE a similar table(s) exists in the Honda ECU. Either it's a simple 2D RPM based table or maybe it's a 3D RPM vs ...

Re: Overrun - Ignition
I'm talking about the "Overrun fuel cut" per gear delay table. Right now I have to set it very low to prevent rev hang. I appreciate all your points but I can tell you that in practice, the mixture does not go "so rich that combustion does not occur". The minimum IPW set in the E...

Re: VTEC Oil Pressure Switch Enabled
It would be great to be able to wire in a GM oil pressure sensor that outputs 0-5v, then have the ECU monitor that against engine RPM. If the pressure per RPM falls below a set threshold, it could cut fuel until it looks good again and recover after a set set delay. I am assuming the VTEC oil pressu...

Re: Overrun - Ignition
No, it won't. Running overly rich does that. This would be the same as driving at low load with ignition retard since it will still be targeting a normal AFR. Anyway, allowing the ability to tune the ignition timing at throttle lift will let me increase the delay before fuel cut and retard timing so...

Ability to disable the DBW controller, allowing us to run a cable throttle of our choice without the check engine light. Easier said than done since you will also lose control over idle... That's fine with me for what I'm trying to do. But at least give us the option. I don't see why idle control i...

Re: FlashPro Requests
Can Hondata please add ignition timing tables that are used during overrun for my S2000?

Overrun - Ignition
I would like to keep the fuel injectors on all the time by adjusting the available tables. There is already a way to do this. In addition I would like to retard the timing during overrun to generate a decel burble that results due to some of the combustion taking place on a slightly open exhaust val...

0% TPedal = 3% TPlate but 2% TPedal = 2% TPlate
I think there is a problem with the synchronization of the mechanical rest position (dictated by vertical set-screw) vs ECU commanded minimum position of my throttle body. The mechanical rest position TPlate% is higher than the minimum TPlate % as commanded by the ECU. This causes the TPlate% to act...

Re: lean tip-in
Ran two bottles of Chevron Techron thru 24 gallons of fuel. No change. Installed a new Fuel Pulsation Damper even though the old one seemed to move the set screw up and down. Thought maybe the spring got weak over the course of 90K miles and maybe wasn't reacting as intended. No change in datalogs. ...

Re: FlashPro Requests
Can you define tip-in enrichment tables for this ECU? Every single ECU out there calculates tip-in or accel enrichment either based on rate of TPS and/or load change.

Re: lean tip-in
I don't see any pending DTCs. The problem only shows up when MAP increases quickly, like 10kPa in 100ms. Otherwise the car runs well everywhere else. Long term fuel trims are less than 2-3%, powerband is smooth with no knock counts etc. And the lean spike only lasts about 300ms at 3000RPM. This agai...
