Re: FlashProManager V1.1.9.1 (beta)

The buttons are fixed but I'm still getting the Coolant gauge malfunction along with the MIL with those 2 codes. U012s is VSA to ECU communication failure and U0155 is ECU to gauges malfunction. Both are FCAN failures which is CAN BUS com failure. I only get it after a reflash and for some reason th...

Re: FlashProManager V1.1.9.0 (beta)

Derek, This Beta has major bugs!! I sent you an email as well but I figured I'd post this just in case. Here's the issue. I updated last night and tried flashing the ECU and when I did the program button was totally unresponsive as was the datalog button once I got the flash to take. Also when the f...

Hey Derek, what is that fuel mileage flow table? How does that effect fuel mileage and what do I do with it? There is nothing in the help file anywhere. Thanks.

Fuel Status 8 (error)?

Hey Hondata what is fuel status 8 usually mean? I have a customer that was running perfectly for a month, the tune was solid and now suddenly he's misfiring and the fuel status shows 8 at all times. Any possible ideas? Thanks a bunch.

ID1000's FTW. Have never ever touched my cold start fueling and they always start perfect cold. Even down to 15 degrees so far... LMAO. But yeah, you need to adjust your cranking fuel. Like the other guys said. HAHA!! me too. My IDs fire right up instantly when cold. Never touched the trims either.

It's in all versions of FPM. The bug has been fixed for next release. And yes, any IAT under 32 degrees and the boost control goes haywire. It will vary on how much boost will increase. Mine only jumped up 5-6% but it was enough to wreak havoc.

Boost cut is set, Thanks Derek.

Bug in Boost control temp comp table

Hondata, I found a bug in the boost control logic. Once the temp seems to go below 32 degrees IAT the boost control goes haywire. It is adding 5% duty across the board under 32 degrees IAT. And the temp comp values in the temp comp table are not doing anything. No matter what value I enter it doesn'...

What are your short term trims doing at those IATs?

This logic change is a beautiful thing. Used to be that at the track I'd get the obligatory 2-4 knocks per run as the IAT increased in the upper gears. Last Friday when I went on the new logic, I didn't get a single knock under load AND I was able to add back 2 degrees of ignition under boost. Than...

Re: Could you add a target boost table?

Is it possible to create a target boost table? I did opensource tuning via the tactrix cable on my subaru WRX and it has tables for target boost in addition to wastegate duty cycles by throttle position and rpm. It is really nice because if you don't have your Wastegate duty cyles for your boost so...

By the way, THANKS Derek. Much appreciated.

You need to lower your ignition limit tables boost column values until you see a 0 in the actual ignition limit value in the sensors window. The ignition limit should stay at 0 for the entire time you're in boost. Start at 0 for all columns in boost and work your way either up or down until it reads...

I've read the new posts and I'm still struggling. I was told that the default values in the knock control tables in the beta software will need to be modified to keep everything good with my car. I was tuned previously. I am boosted. Where did all the default values come from? I read the help and t...

Please unmarry the IAT/ECT based comps from the knock logic. Honda's engineers must of had way too much Sake the day they designed that logic. Actually the way Honda has implemented the high ECT and high IAT retard makes sense - only retard the ignition if you're likely to knock. The problem for us...
