Re: Problem with connecting SManager

I'll throw my hat in the ring too - had the same issue the other weekend at a track that does not have wifi service. Couldn't connect to datalog or make adjustments to the tune. Then right before eliminations it let me in, but by that time it was too late, I'd made two test passes with no data and c...

Re: Built b16a turbo map help

We don't have enough info to help you out. You really should take it to a tuner and have them work on it for you. Or, make a datalog and post it and the calibration here and we *might* be able to give some general suggestions, but nothing will beat having an actual tuner with the car in front of them.

Re: Need a LS Vtec “stock” tune

Look in the Vault (Window > Vault) for a similar setup, or pick a close tune from the standard calibrations, set your injectors to 370cc, and make sure your MAP sensor matches what's in the tune. That should be good enough to get the car started and to a tuner for dyno tuning.

Re: Base map turbo b18c4

Look in the Vault (Window > Vault) for a similar setup, or choose a stock B18C tune, change your injectors to 2200cc, and change the MAP sensor drop down to 4 bar. Drive it straight onto a trailer or straight to a tuner and get it tuned.

Re: B20 turbo base map (stock Internals)

You can either look in the Vault for a tune (in SManager, Window > Vault) or just choose the stock B20 pre-loaded tune in SManager, set your injectors to 1000 cc/min, and set your MAP sensor to 4 bar from the drop down. Stay out of boost and drive with that to the tuner.

Re: ECU cuts power right after launch

What's the giveaway when you look at the log that that's what happened? I see a lean spike just before it, at 57.3, but it's also as I approach the 1st gear limiter, so I assumed it would not register that as a lean condition. If you use the Closed Loop template when replaying the datalog, you can ...

Re: Surging AFR's at idle S300v1

I looked at your tune and datalog. Your battery voltage is low (12.3 - 12.7V), and if your dead times for the fuel injectors are off, this could cause fueling issues. I would find out why your voltage is down and double check your dead times are correct.

Re: map for b18 css turbo

Have you looked in the Vault to find a calibration for a setup close to yours? Open SManager, click Window > Vault, then you can search. Or create your own. Start a new calibration, pick one from the drop down (I would start with stockusp72), set your injectors to 1,000 cc/min, and make sure you set...

Re: Random engine stumble and mil

I see no signs of leaking or swelling of the of the original capacitors on the ECU board. By the time you see them swell or leak, they have gone bad a long time ago. You need to replace them before they get to this state. If you have never replaced them, do it now, as even in the best case scenario...

Re: LS VTEC - Cant sync timing

When you click "close" on the "Set Ignition Timing" window, the ECU allows all the compensations for RPM, temp, etc to be applied again. This is normal.

Re: RPM Freeze- Fuel and Spark Cut

Spark plug gap is 30 thousandths inch. Try tightening up the gap to 0.020" and see if that helps. If not you can open it back up to 0.030". Quick easy test. By scaling you just mean interpolating the fuel values because of the resolution or something else? What you mean by the offset para...

Re: RPM Freeze- Fuel and Spark Cut

It may be breaking up. What kind of spark plug gap are you running? If you change to a 3 bar MAP, you'll need to change the scaling and offset parameters to match. In theory you shouldn't have to change your fuel maps, but it's always a good idea to go through them at no boot, then low boost to ensu...

Correct. The rate of change parameters should make the most noticeable difference.

Re: No start - Injectors not firing and distributor error

Your battery voltage is low...dipping into the 8's when cranking. That can cause all kinds of things to go haywire...I would replace or charge your battery.
