Re: What can we do against the jerky accelerator?

The car is NA now with spoon cams and bolt ons.
i know that hondata says it's not correct, but IMO in a fn2 a full afm cal is the better cal to run.

Re: What can we do against the jerky accelerator?

The hybrid cals in the fn2 are very jerky. You can tune fuel, ignition and injectors cut in the overrun and other parameters to 100% and is still is jerky. I return to complet afm cal in the last days. Very easy to tune and they are very good now. The car drives much better on the overrun now. Afm c...

sorry but no.
He should use AFM calibration with map fuel tables.
Open an AFM tune, open "fuel" and the check the "use speed/density (MAP) fuel tables"
uncheck "AFM enable".
Then tune the fuel with MAP fuel tables.

Re: Fuel table question

The stock and reflash are afm calibrations
Probably your tuner calibrations are map (race) calibrations
You can't compare the fuel in this 2 types of calibration as the fuel is tune in different ways.

Re: FlashPro V1.7.0

soxfan: thanks for the feedback. I see that a lot of the new features for the Civic Si are not been added to the European FN2 Type-R. Any specific reason for this? Since the CTR & US Civic Si are very similar there will not be a problem to add it to the next release; it makes sense to test the ...

Re: car goes lean on wot

replaced the o2 sensor and same thing im looking closely at the afm reading and it looks messed up maybe the sensor is old and needs replacing? your map pressure is very low at WOT close to 900 when it should be close to 1000. Also is this car running the last version of the FP manager? or an old o...

did you change the values in the wot lambda adjustment tables?

Re: car goes lean on wot

No it can't. It is running with 86% duty cycle. I think that when you install a new sensor you will see that the car is running rich.

Re: code P0172 flashpro

plug the FP to your car, go to FP manage, error codes and erase the error code.
if this comes on again you have a problem, I think it's the injen. You need to calibrate the MAF sensor.

Re: car goes lean on wot

You have to tune fuel in the correct way with the AFM calibrations.
Go to sensors and AFM flow. Go to mass flow and add 6% or 7% in all the mass flow values above 3,71v (don't change the voltage values. I seen you have change this voltage before).
If your car is still lean you have a dead o2 sensor.

You cannot open the ECU without destroying the case. Hondata I think it's possible. In this old topic on civinfo someone open an ecu like this without destroying the case http://www.civinfo.com/forum/engines-transmission/62147-civic-fn2-ecu-remap-no-hondata-required.html The only thing destroyed wa...

Re: FlashPro V1.6.0

Yes, and idle surge. When I had hybrid cals I had this a lot. The car would go to 600 rpm when I come to a stop. With race cal I still have this but less. Only with the AC on. FP should have some type of compensation table for this. I also think the hybrid cals are not the real deal yet. You feel th...
