Need Help....

Post by black1999si »

i have a 99' Civic Si and i was wondering what ECU would be best for my setup....the P30, P28, P61, or the P72??...all i have for now is i/h/e done and i plan on doing cam gears, ignition and fuel sometime soon...should i even bother doing the ECU or should i invest the money into sumthin else :?: and if i were to get the ECU now; would i still notice a reasonable power gain with the modifications that i have :?: also, i read somewhere on this website that if i were to get the P28; i would be losing some of the functions in the computer....should i be worried about this or no :?: hope someone can help me out out there...thanks

?t doesn't matter which you buy. I think the cheapest is the P28. Same HP gains anyway. Just need to buy an adapter cable and thats it. For thos with Forced Induction you might want the 3 bar map.

so if i were to get the P28...i'll still notice a significant HP gain with just I/H/E? i kno that i would need the wiring harness and the P28 ECU...would i need anything else...one more thing....my bro said that it is illegal to go from OBDII to a OBDI.....is this true?
