P28 or P72

Post by deauboy »

I have a 97 JDM B18C Type R in my 97 Civic EX, I am wondering if there is a difference between the P28 and P72 once chipped with Hondata.

Thanks much,

I know either will work with my engine, but the big question is if there is a difference between the two once hondata is being used.

I have the same question as

As the table shows, P28 ECU has NOT knock, but the P30-A has knock... the question is that if the P28 ECU doesnt have the knock sensor input or what?
and please correct me if I'm wrong: after installing Hondata S300 on a P28 we cant disable knock but on a P30 we can do it.
thanks

If they do not have a function in the list it is because they do not have the circuitry for it.
