I'm trying to figure out if its possible to install hondata's K pro in my 2002 honda crv 5spd. I know that you can install k pro in the crv's ecu for other swapped vehicle's but will it work if installed in my crv. I've read in other forums that if you use k pro in a 2002 crv it will cause the instrument cluster to not work. I figured i would ask the pro's and see what they say.
Thank you for your time.

To my knowledge it should work, but it is not something we have ever tested.
Re: 2002 honda crv
Thank you for the quick reply. I'm going to have to try this soon.

Bringing this post back from the dead:
I now have K-pro for the 2002 Honda CRV. It is a 5 speed/ 4WD.
Do you have a base map calibration for this?

Re: 2002 honda crv
No, we don't, you will have to use one of the calibrations built into the software and tune from there, or see if someone else has a better starting calibration that they have tuned.
Re: 2002 honda crv
Hi, im new to this posting on forums and all..but I have been reading them quite a while and have not found any info (as of yet) on my specific setup.
03 crv awd 5spd manual
k24a1 block/k20a2 head (built motor/tranny turbo 400ish whp)
Can I have the stock ecu from this car kpro'd?
are there base maps for this setup? similar to rsx s maybe? I also would like to know if you can switch between maps for an economy/low boost map and then a high performance/boost map?
needing to do this soon and still have few unanswered questions I really would like to know before throwing more money at the situation.

Re: 2002 honda crv
Did this work for any of you guys. I am in the same position 2002 honda crv 6mt and wanted to add a turbo kit, already have a tuner so tuning isn't the problem. just need to know if after the ecu has been kpro'd its a plug and play without no other modification needed, and if it does what are the mods needed to make it work
Re: 2002 honda crv
37820-PPL-A03 ECU. Im sorry for taking so long to reply to the ecu question spunkster, but can you get back with me. Im calling a local shop about getting the ecu kpro'd ( uptil now I was driving the car and stuff, couldnt take it out).
03 CRV 5 Speed manual (RtAWD).
Currently under rebuild everything motor and tranny and 62mm CEA BB Precision Turbo, 450 WHP power goal. (because of tranny not built, just syncros and bearings, bigger 5th gear for economy) 1000cc ID injectors and 6an feed/return e85 ready :). I hope its all I read other people with similar 2wd builds have, reliable/FAST/economic?/fun. I plan on using this suv as my daily driver, later it will get coilovers but same or slightly lower height if any change.

Only the PPA ECU is compatible with K-Pro.
