I newly bought a H22A JDM engine for a swap into my 91 Accord.
The H22 engine is taken from a Accord SiR CD6 (96-99??) and has a P0F-004 ECU..
What I have planed to do with this engine is to change much inside, and a little outside..
Rods
High comp pistons
Cams
Intake
++++
I've also planned to use Hondata to make a nice tune when i'm finish with the engine, but Hondata does not support my ECU..
What would you guys recomend me to do? Find myself an other ECU? In that case, what would be the best ECU?
Really hope someone her can help me =)
Thanks
Have a P0F-004 ECU.. What should I do to use Hondata system?
Re: Have a P0F-004 ECU.. What should I do to use Hondata sys
To use a Hondata system, you will need to use a compatible OBD1 ecu from the list at http://www.hondata.com/ecus.html. You can then use the Hondata s100 or s300 depending on what options you want (http://www.hondata.com/sproducts.html). I would recommend the s300.
Re: Have a P0F-004 ECU.. What should I do to use Hondata sys
Ok, so I can use a P28 ecu on this engine?
Is this engine just the same as the older Prelude 92-95 mod engine?
I see that the CD6 engine has only 190 hp, but I belive that has to do with some lower compression?

Yes you can use a P28. I cannot tell you the differences between the different H22 engines.
