Love to know more
Re: Injector Driver Box
Yes, I've read all that. Just waiting for more information on a release date and cost.

Re: Injector Driver Box
The release is probably going to be late Feb. Retail price is to be determined.

Re: Injector Driver Box
can we at least know if this box will power and fire off the injectors in order by itself with the aid of some kind of signal or a wiring diagram. Im trying to plan ahead a little so im not blind sided with something as im planning for this unit.

Re: Injector Driver Box
It depends if you have 4 or 8 injectors, and if they are slaved or staged.

Re: Injector Driver Box
i have 2000 on top and 1000 on bottom, was planning on staging...
was originally going to strait wire slave the bottoms until i saw this device was coming out...race only car obviously..

Re: Injector Driver Box
So the driver will have four individual injector inputs which have to be split off of the primaries and then four individual outputs for the secondaries?

Re: Injector Driver Box
Yes, the diagram may not be clear on that (but it is not the final version). For sequential operation it needs 4 inputs and 4 outputs. For staged operation it needs an enable input from the ECU.

Re: Injector Driver Box
Which would be better sequential or staged, what's the difference?
Re: Injector Driver Box
You want both.
Sequential injection is where each injector fires at the right time for each cylinder, so that as much as fuel as possible goes in the cylinder when the intake valve is open. You need the four input and outputs for sequential injection.
Staged injection is where one set of injectors are 'staged' to operate at a certain rpm/load etc. That way you can use smaller injectors for idle/low load, and then both small and larger injectors under high load / boost etc. If you wanted to use two fuel systems you could also run different fuels (92 octane and E85 for instance), but it's simpler just to use E85 for both injectors. The only advantage would be fuel consumption.

Re: Injector Driver Box
I use 2000cc injectors as the primary and im going to use 1000's as the staged set to come in around 38-40 psi of boost. I'm assuming this is fine. Alot of your literature and posts suggests using the small ones with the big ones on stage.
Ive been running upwards of 48 psi at "100%" duty cycle on a set of just 4 2000's for around a year or so haha.
