Flashpro, Sport Mode, 2017 Si, Heat Guage

Post by azokie »

I have the Flashpro 6+ psi installed with sport mode button on my 2017 Si. I just noticed something when I engage the sport mode. My engine temperature gauge indicator goes to cold or just drops off. When I disengage sport mode, the temperature gauge shows normal temperature. Is this normal and correct functioning? I assume this is normal as I do not notice any alarms. So why is this? Is it because the turbo is taking exhaust and that flow by-passes the engine temperature sensor?

Try re-uploading the calibration to the ECU again and see if the issue persists as it should not change that operation.
