Re: 2019 Honda hatchback CVT support
I flashed a 2019 HB Sport Touring with the +6 built-in calibration right after the break-in period. It's the CARB version and so far so good. I haven't done much testing since it was just flashed yesterday, but initial drive around town did feel more responsive. A friend flashed his EX-T with the same +6 built-in calibration and he's been running the same flash for almost 3 years now, and he hasn't seen any issue at all.
By the way, question for Hondata, does the built-in CARB calibration get updated throughout the years? I read somewhere else that it doesn't but I would like to check with you to confirm. Thank you!

Re: 2019 Honda hatchback CVT support
My understanding is that the CARB version makes the flashed car street legal in the US.
Re: 2019 Honda hatchback CVT support
The CARB version is for on-road vehicles in the US. The CARB and Race versions have the same starting calibrations, but in the CARB version you cannot change anything that might affect the vehicle emissions. If we update the Race version then sometimes the CARB version calibration gets updated; it is subject to the emission aforementioned restriction.

Can you use the carb version to tune or you only are allowed to use base map
Re: 2019 Honda hatchback CVT support
You can change some limited parameters. Download the software and see.

I cant find my ecu number
Re: 2019 Honda hatchback CVT support
It is on the ECU in the engine bay, by the air box and the battery.

Re: 2019 Honda hatchback CVT support
I checked my ecu and it is the 37820-5AN-CF2
I checked on the official honda flashpro website and it says it's not compatible. Will it ever be supported?

It may be supported in the future. Do you have access to a FlashPro?

No, cause I would rather buy one only if I know its supported :p
Re: 2019 Honda hatchback CVT support
Sorry for posting this question in another thread too, but since this one is specifically the same application, is the 2019 1.5T CVT Civic Hatch supported yet, or any non-Sport CVT Hatch? I am looking at one for sale nearby. Thanks
Re: 2019 Honda hatchback CVT support
We support the 2019 non sport hatch EX CVT, but you would need to check the ECU part number to know for sure.
