How can I connect the PLXDevice Bosch LSU4.2 WB to Hondata?

Post by A4XRBJ1 »

Hi,

I know it needs to be connected to the ELD port(?), but are there instructions available of how to solder it or is there a special connector available?

My PLXDevice has the wideband signal running out through a connector which I could connect directly with my old Greddy e-Manage Ultimate. Can the same be used for the ELD?

Sorry for the noobie question, I didn't installed the Hondata Kit, but now want the wideband numbers to be used inside my Hondata.

If you could point me to any documentation or how-to that would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Andreas

There are no special insturctions, tools or plugs required. You simply input the wideband signal from the PLX into the ELD input making sure that you have disconnected the ELD wire from the ELD.

Hi Spunkster,

I'm still lost as I do not know where to cut the cable.

It says D10 so I assume you mean Pin 10 on the D-Connector, right?

Where do I find that one, do I have to count from left to right on the Hondata ECU and the 4th connector is the D one? I'm assuming then that I have to cut the cable which goes right into the connector which plugs into the Hondata ECU, right?

Maybe you have a pic showing what the connector looks like, that would be the easiest way of identifying him, otherwise please indicate on the following pic of my installation:

ELD is pin A30 on an S2000

That is the pinout for a RSX, but how you count the connectors and pins is similar (from left to right).
