K24 into a VW Baja

Post by SoCalBaja »

I just picked up a K24A RBB-2. The JDM shop gave me a ECU. It’s number 37820-PND-J01. Can that be reflashed to work with a kpro system on this engine? I plan on using a RSX Type S engine harness and Rywire power harness. Does all this sound right for a stand alone system in a VW Baja Bug?

Unfortunately that ECU is not compatible with K-Pro. What transmission are you using with this?

I called HASPORT.COM today and they said it would work. What ecu do I need then?
I have a K24 RBB-2, RSX-S wiring harness.

I’m using the VW tranny. I’m putting the K24 in my 1970 VW Baja Bug.

The Japanese PND will not work. The US PND will work (A08).
