Nees help making an OBDII port for my KPro V4
Re: Nees help making an OBDII port for my KPro V4
You need to check all your wiring as it sounds like something is not wired in the vehicle correctly. I would suggest you use the factory service manual for the RSX.

Bumping this post since it's been over a year, I've made multiple attempts and still no luck. A friend with a K swapped Civic hatch has a KPro V4 in his car as well, but his ECU looks different in that it doesn't have pins going from the circuit board to the middle two connectors (I'm guessing my ECU was from an automatic) and his wires have different colors so I've had no luck trying to copy his setup.

Car runs and drives perfectly fine though, even connects via Bluetooth to my phone or a tablet without issue. Problem is my JOYING brand stereo has some limitation in its Bluetooth stack, the manufacturer only allows phones and their own branded OBDII dongles to connect to their stereos. I bought one of their dongles but the correct wiring from the KPro to the OBDII dongle is my issue...power and ground are fine since the dongle lights up, but Hondata and RealDash say "Ignition not on" even though it is.
Based on my friends OBDII port, he has 5 wires coming from his KPro OBDII port, which I've labeled here, but even then, none of the wiring pinouts I've been able to find online match his wiring colors or mine and I don't wanna risk touching wires randomly to each ECU pin in hopes that suddenly I'll get the signal I need.

Bump, please...I never thought 4 wires would give me this much headache :-)
Re: Nees help making an OBDII port for my KPro V4
Bumpski for ANYONE reading this with a Hondata OBDII port wired in like the pics I posted above. Wiring colors aren't consistent based on Google searches so pin location within the harness would be super helpful, please.

I didn't think I'd literally be asking the hardest question ever, hence the lack of replies...

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!
I finally found the correct matching colors pinout for my ECU which is an automatic for some reason. I just need to know which wires from this harness are used to make an OBDII port.

So all this time and I just figured out I've been trying to splice into the wrong harness!! I was going for connector A not E, but I'm still having no luck with E either.
I found this website after continual Google searches for RSX auto ECU's, but of the few pins in my E connector, non match colorwise - https://www.phearable.net/information/t ... grams.html
Pin 23 seems to be the K Line for most ECU's if I recall.
OBDII dongle lights up (pins 4&5 to ground, 16 to power; both directly on the battery itself), and then I ran a wire from pin 7 on the OBDII port to pin 23 on the ECU...devices connect to the OBDII dongle, Hondata still says "Ignition Not On" :/
