Check continuity to ground at the output from B21 with boost control enabled and disabled.

Test results:

Boost disabled: 0 ohms
Boost enabled: .8-1.7 ohms

Here lies our problem.

If this is the case then your ECU is damaged in some way. As when you have the boost control enabled there is no duty cycle shown so it is not commanding the ECU to do anything.

here is another log i did a few days ago on Low cam 20* at 10psi

duty is 15%

i guess you didnt see the duty because it was done at idle, but this is when i have the problem.
i found it holds the 10psi but wanted to try another pressure port.
low 20 10psi 1.kdl

Ok, so the boost control is working to build boost, and you are experiencing no other problems with how it runs? Correct?

the last datalog was taken when the pressure from the turbo was T by the turbo.

i only came across the problem when i used a port on the intake manifold for the ebc pressure port BUT at idle and its more recognized at cold start/high idle the ebc is allowing vacuum to pass opening the WG when the boost control is enabled.

this is my problem.

why is vacuum allowed to pass.

What solenoid are you using?

Hondata Solenoid, I bought the combo from http://www.kseriesparts.com/browse/cr/? ... versal=yes

at this stage the solenoid is not the cause because the problem only occurs when the 'boost control' is activated weather the solenoid is connected or not, the ECU is activating the ground circuit which is opening the solenoid at idle when the motor has vacuum.

Are you saying that you are getting a vacuum leak at idle through the solenoid?

the way i see it, the solenoid is being open at idle, cruise or WOT when it shouldnt.

this is the problem. why is the ecu grounding this circuit at a time when it shouldnt be?

the Hondata/Mac EBC solenoids are normally closed, with this being held open by the ECU changes this.

It seems that when the variable frequency was added it intruduced this bug into the software. going to the non-beta version will continue to work as it should. I have made our software guys aware of the issue.
