Have you ever had the problem when speed sensor turns off after car reaches 250km/h? ( 155 mph)

What could be a solution changing to some alternative more reliable sensor?
Thank

The speed sensor will only read to 255 kph (internal limitation of the ECU), but it should not switch back to 0.

What sort of speed sensor is it? The final drive or 3rd gear?

The next step is to try another speed sensor.

We've run multiple vehicles over 255 kph and the speed usually pegs at 255 kph. I would consider raising the front off the ground and running it in top gear to see if the problem is load or speed dependent.

Pick a place where the neighbors will not complain. If you are 4WD then you'll need to disconnect the rear driveshaft. Jack up the front of the car and support the lower arms so that the axles are straight (to keep the CVs happy). Put in top gear and run then engine to 260 kph. If you're close to redline at that speed then I'd be a little careful as the engine is less happy at high rpm under light load than full load.

Sorry.
I am not crazy.
I will think about it on the dyno.

I'm sorry for the delay
I have no answers

I know that this is not a problem speed sensor. What frequency (kHz) you are using for the speed readings?
