TPS setup issues?? kal/datalog included

Post by JackSVM »

I can only get 1.7 min and 74.7 max. Any tips as to what I can do for this? If I move the TPS both readings go up by the same amount so I could have min close to 0 OR max close to 100. Never both

Reset the TPS calibration to defaults and see what you get. Also check the voltage from the ECU to the TPS is 5.0V, and the actual TPS voltage is around 0.5V closed and 4.5V open.
TPS fail very often from vibration.

I tried to set it up that way aswell and got 4.44v and 0.40 at one end of the TPS and if I rotate it I get 4.89 and 0.78 so I can't get both of the targets this way. I have fully undone the throttle cable so it's completely slack like this to make sure the throttle is fully closed and I have wound the throttle stop screw fully out aswell.

Iv got a brand new k tuned TPS aswell which has done 0 miles so far.

Iv just recorded a short datalog of the car idling and me revving it to 3k ish. Maybe someone can see something on there as to why it's hunting and any TPS issues. Il upload it in half hour when I'm home

You appear to have a vacuum leak I would recommend you either try the stock throttle body or check for leaks on the one you are using.
