Euro R k20a

Post by Dthquazi »

I am in the process of a kmiata swap. All of the different Honda parts interchangeablity has me very confused. I am wanting to know what calibration map I should be running? Currently I am trying the rsx type s base maps with no success. I am getting crank but no fire. I find that this motor has been a nightmare as it mirrors a k24 more than a rsx type s motor.

Euro R k20a from cl7.
Dc5 wiring harness.
37820-Pnd-a08.
Kpro version 4.4.2.0
74mm tb and custom intake.
Rsx O2 sensor in kmiata header.
K24 crank sensor and plug with wires swapped to match colors.
Harness ground to valve cover as shown in directions.
Block/transmission grounded to chassis.
Timing cover grounded to chassis.

Codes:
P0113 iat. No iat hooked up but have one on the way.
P1259 vtec system oil pressure switch.

I have not tried to remedy the pressure switch because this is where some of my confusion is. Sounds like my motor doesn't have this switch...?

I am will try to log a start attempt shortly but I want to know which base settings I would need to modify, if any from the rsx type s before I keep going.

I would recommend that you try the ECU in a known working vehicle first. If it works properly then you know you have either a mechanical or wiring related issue in the vehicle.

It will take me some time to find one. Am I on the right track to use a rsx type s tune with this motor?

It should provide a good starting point

Trying to source out another working car to test Ecu in still.

Eliminated all codes. Tried a new crank sensor. Plugs are wet with fuel after cranking.

I have no constant power to any of the coil packs with the ignition on. Additionally I have no power in pin A20 at the Ecu (output for coils f I understand correctly)
