K20a2 with Rotrex - Kpro

Post by kaiser46 »

Hello,

i have a Lotus with a Honda K20a with Rotrex compressor, RC 750cc injector, 3bar Fuel pressure and Hondata Kpro.
Last year I ve started to have some problem like misfire at 3500 - 4000 rpm, and after 6000 it s seem to work not as well as it should be.
So, I make some work on the car:

- New spark plug NKG BKR8EIX
- New coil pack
- New acuity TPS
- New Map Sensor ( a Bosh... it was like that when I bought the car )
- and check a lot of thinks

After that the car seems to work fine, bus last week i had the same misfire problem.. I open the cam cover to check the timing chain and other things, all is OK.

I know that the calibration was made when the car have a water /meth injection, and after this installation was delete, and the calibration unchanged.

So I have several questions:

- could you confirm me that the RC 750cc dead time are ok in my calibration:

Voltage 6,07 8,09 10,01 14,06 16,08
Deat time 2,55 1,70 1,27 0,84 0,71

- as the MAP is a custom one, I can 't be sure of the voltage to pressure conversion..

You can find the .KAL and two logs, on the first the car doesn t have misfire, on the second the car have misfire

Thanks for your help

At the 1:17 mark I notice the effects of the acceleration smoothing retard: http://www.hondata.com/help/kmanager/ge ... htsub=gear

Thanks for your answer.

So, you didn t find anymore suspect un the .KAL

I m tring to understand about injector dead time. I ve attached a PDF with factory value from RC, ans it s really différent .. ( 43.5psi ).
How could you explain that?

Thanks

Have you tried the values that are supplied by RC, or the ones in the quick select?

Hi,

I have another question, about PLX Wideband.
I Have a PLX SM AFR ( Gen 4 ) connected to the ELD ECU Pin.

When I check in Kpro Manager, the ELD sensor is Electric Load in Ampere.

How should I do to make that working, and have someting in volt? I can t find a voltage / Lambda conversion table

Thanks for your help.

Sorry, i ve found the answer, in the parameters.

But the wideband value is only used for logging, and note take for the map ? Right?

The ELD input is for datalogging only and it cannot run closed loop or anything else from it.
