K20A2 CAI/RH/EX 2.5 & K-Pro

Post by SIKCIVIC » Mon Mar 15, 2010 8:31 am

Hey, I just wanted to get a little bit of info here. I'm going to be installing K-Pro into my RSX Type-S within the next couple of weeks (already have it, car is in storage). I will have the following installed on the car alongside K-Pro:

Fujita Cold Air Intake
Megan Racing Race Headers
T1R 63S 2.5" Catback Exhaust

I just want to see which map I should use for the time being. I'm guessing it would be between the following and I'm not sure which one to use as I am very new to this.

k20a2-rsx-stock.kal
k20a2-rsx-stock-tuned.kal
k20a2-rsx-coldair.kal
k20a2-rsx-310cc-todahdr.kal

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be stock or stock tuned because of the mods. Would I be okay to use the CAI map with the headers and the catback or would I be better off using the toda map since I have race headers and a catback installed.

I will be getting a tune during the summer. I will just be waiting until I get my RBC and possibly TSX cams as well. This is just so that I will be able to drive the car for the time being.

Thanks.

try this one. its a much better starting place. Though chances are you will prolly need a bit more fuel for the colder weather. Do a log and post it up just to be safe. Disable closed loop if you want me to help you with part throttle as well.

Not bad. It could use some work but Ive seen much worse.

Go ahead and get me a good long datalog and I'll see if I cant make some changes, but Id imagine this one is fine to get you around for now.

Its possible. Try using an online storage site and linking it.

The most popular are dropbox, box(dot)com and google drive, but I do not endorse any of these sites. Its up to you.
