Then it's better to use a Basemap if u run lean u run risk of blowing your motor

Try factory Basemap or the dyno tuned Basemap of kmanager they are both good starting point if u wish to tune and teach yourself invest in a a/f gauge and you can start to fine tune your car

If u have kpro v4 you can use target lambda basically mapping fuel itself ...... though you still need a a/f controller that the kpro can read

It's always a possibility but as it's a Basemap I would doubt it run lean no Basemap has ever run lean on my car if anything they run rich on Basemaps even with my mods I was at an a/f around 12.5 at wide open throttle and I have rbc and a 70mm throttle body , ideally you would have an a/f controller

Ok cool mate, thanks for your help. So the dyno tuned one should be fine?

Every car is different .... but I wouldn't hammer throttle without a a/f controller (although I highly doubt it to run lean) ... seriously though get an a/f they hold Their weight in gold

Are they hard to install? I had a brief look and do you have to connect something in the exhaust?

Yes you need to screw in the lambda sensor and connect it to a 12v switched power supply fused

If u wish to tune the fuelling your self rather than just checking a map is OK to use , you can wire the data cable from the controller to the ecu .... but as u have kpro v2 I'm not sure where you wire it to .... although i recommend at least familiarising yourself with the software and understanding a/f ratios either way you still need to understand a/f ratios
