TPS Adjustment

Post by GIFF5323 » Mon Jul 10, 2006 7:30 pm

OK, I read the sticky about adjusting the TPS but for the life of me I have no idea where it is physically located on the TB. Does anyone have any pictues of where it is?

Is a physical adjustment the only way to get it close to 0? After looking a a datalog I noticed it was around 1 and occasionally up to 2.

IT is the 3 wire sensor on the axis of the Throttle Body butterfly.

Found it. To close the TPS a bit it do I turn clockwise or counter clockwise. How much of a turn should I turn it to reduce it from 1 and 2 to 0 and -1. I don't want to remove the TB if I don't have too.

You need to adjust it with the car running.

OK. So adjust it with the car running and monitor the sensors in K-PRO until the TPS is at 0 or -1. Got it.
