USDM a3 Calibration on JDM Engine?!

Post by torqueless »

I have the usdm calibration for the a3 toda racing camshafts to be used on the rsx type s. I own a JDM DC5 honda integra type r.
What i want to know is will the cam angle settings on the usdm a3 calibration work the way it should on a jdm engine with the a3 camshafts.

If not can anyone supply me with the JDM calibration for the a3 camshafts by toda racing.

The cam angles are probably goign to be similar, but it is impossible to say until you put it on the dyno to see.

Well the issue i face is that there is 1 dyno in Barbados and it is hardly every working. & since the best way to tune cam angles is via a dyno i need to know for sure.

hi from trinidad with a type R, i was playing with the maps last night, the base
and if you use the k20a cold air intake dyno tuned, was a very good base map to start with, we just up the cams by 5 in the last 3 columns and that made 4hp on the powerband. our motor is stock and i must second Spunkster dyno is a MUST.
