O2 sensor disable?

Post by honda crazzy »

i have a full race exhaust with no cat and want to know if i should disable o2 sensor or wait till it throws a error. by disabling the o2 sensor , will closed loop work ok. does the o2 sensor only read the gas that's been chemically changed after passing thru the cat, and therefore only checks to see if the cat is working correctly or not?
if that's all the o2 sensor does then it should be ok to disable it.

Closed loop cannot operate with the O2 disabled. You must have a properly functioning primary O2 sensor to run closed loop.

A wideband sensor must be matched to the controlling electronics. Thus only the Honda wideband sensor can be used with the wideband controller in the Honda ECU.

To view a datalog recording, go tot he graph window and you simply grad the line back and forth. You can position your windows so you can see them all at the same time and see exactly what is happening.
