I ran a wire from brake switch pinout from the ecu to a switch and then another wire and earthed the switch. So I have a 2 wire switch, 1 from ecu and the other to groundSpunkster wrote:Please describe exactly how you wired this, as I don not understand what you have done.
Thanks

I have 3 questions to ask:
#1- I just want to make it clear and see how exactly you wire the 2 wire toggle switch?..
l see that you can choose one of the following switch output from the ecu. a/c switch, brake switch, power steering, vtec, and service connector. So let's say I want to choose b8 "power steering pressure" to datalog manually. So i cut the wire connecting to the b8, use the existing wire from the ecu side, then connect that wire from b8 to one wire of the toggle switch and here's the simple question, where should we connect the other wire from the toggle switch to? is it to a chassis ground? or 12v switch at the fuse box?
#2 What would happen when I cut the wire that was connected to my power steering? I still use power steering and A/C on my car.
#3 I also want to install another switch "toggle" to have a secondary map. I want to use 93 octane on one map then E85 on the other. Is it the same way as my questions above? I hope I explain this as simple as possible and I appreciate the help anyone can give.
