launch control tach crazy

Ok since I got the s300 working I havent had much time to mess with the car, today I am doing some street tuning and its running great. only thing is my launch control is set at 5000 but the tach never gets that high just goes crazy around 1500-3000 and it sounds kind of weird.. any ideas?

ok my laptop just died so I had to go inside and didnt download a datalog. but here is my map, it is a 12.5:1 gsr with s2pro2 cams 3" exhaust with 3" cutout. 675cc injectors (I know big for my setup) s2 pro intake manifold.. with my launch control set at 5000 and I try the tach just bounces around between 1500 and 3000 never gets to 5000 and it doesent sound right. but drivability is great and pulls hard under full throttle. and yes I have a wideband that I am using to tune the car.

The problem is you have no VSS.

hmm let me ckeck that out... I wasnt driving during the datalog if thats what you were looking at? I am just wondering how you could tell I have no vss?

so my vss is working fine, and now that I pay attention to the tach reading on the hondata it shows 4900-5100, so I guess the cluster tach is just confused? according to the s300 the launck control is working fine...

You have the launch limit set to 5000 and it works below 5mph, and you have it set to a fuel and ignition cut for rev-limits.

if you just use fuel cut your tach wont go screwy.
