Hi.
I installed cpr.
From this moment sManager is always disconnecting from ecu when I am running more then 1.2 bar of boost.
Dataloging is stopping and sManager is freezing.
P.S. I am using BKR8EIX.
Can you help me?
Thanks.
sManager disconnected from ecu when high boost
Re: sManager disconnected from ecu when high boost
Post calibration datalog of problem and photos of ground wires in engine bay, it could be a grounding problem.
Re: sManager disconnected from ecu when high boost
What spark plugs are you using?

Data log in attachment. You can see that it stoped when boost is more then 1.1 bar.AREA876 wrote:Post calibration datalog of problem and photos of ground wires in engine bay, it could be a grounding problem.
I remaked engine ground two week ago when I installed CPR. But I didn't remake "battery to body" wire.
I will make photo on this week.

Re: sManager disconnected from ecu when high boost
I took photos of ground wires. All connections cleaned up and greased by connector's lubricant.
The problem wasn't solved.

Re: sManager disconnected from ecu when high boost
The ground on the valve cover is not doing anything. It needs to be connected to one of the studs that has a nut on it to hold down the valve cover. As it is it is completely rubber isolated.
Re: sManager disconnected from ecu when high boost
I remade the ground wire. Now it is connected to a bolt of mount of the steering pump. But nothing has changed.

Hello. What can I do? Problem didn't solved. May be measuring of electromagnetic field is a good idea?

Re: sManager disconnected from ecu when high boost
The grounds do not look like they are making good contact. Take all the paint off at the contact point so that the ground lug is going to bare metal. Are the grounds wires soldered or crimped? Also is there a photo of the transmission ground?
