Tuner info

Post by Hondatuner_1 »

I am confused to certain principles of hondata.

First, if using Target percentage Lambda do you adjust each cell or all corresponding cells ?
Second, if need to adjust idle itself do you adjust only corresponding highlighted cells even if lines are jagged and cross into next line ?
Third, first row show several cells that need lots fuel added but not sure if due to when I let off throttle displaying a lean condition and percentage Target Lambda displays adjust...?...

You can use the percentage measurements to make adjustments, but you need to also keep the lines in 2D from crossing and they should also not be jagged.

Don't worry too much about the first 2 or 3 columns that much above 1500 RPM.

Thanks spunkster !... as far as engine at idle leaning out and if fuel is added lines cross is that an indication of something mechanical...?... also do you need to add fuel to certain cells at once or Will adding fuel to a cell at a time according to percentage tables ?

There is no set way of doing things. What works for one may not work as well for another. You will have to try different ways and find what works best for you.

Hmmm... personally it seems like each cell can be adjusted accordingly but don't know...

Try logging what you want like cruising speed for example. If you watch your afr at 70mph on the freeway cruising and it's at 13.1. Pause the datalog and go to the tables. It will be highlighted at that area. Adjust that and before and after in small increments. Hope that helps
